You are indicating when making a purchase from this website that you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions. We may revise these terms and conditions without any notice so you may have to review these regularly
Hack ‘N’ Tack states that any items or goods shown are subject to availability and can be withdrawn and we have the right to discontinue any item.
If an order has been placed and goods become unavailable,out of stock or with drawn, the customer will be notified and offered analternative, or a full refund.
Hack ‘N’ Tack aim to despatch goods within 5 working days of receiving an order, but at times of heavy demand the customer would be informed of any delay.
Pictures are for illustration purposes only and although we try to be as accurate as possible they may differ slightly from the product supplied.
All prices are in pounds sterling including any UK relevant taxes if applicable.
Hack ‘N’ Tack retain the right to amend prices listed on the website.
Website prices may differ from those in store. We regret that we cannot offer the same discounts or special offers on items purchased in store.
All items ordered will remain the property of Hack ‘N’ Tack until full payment is received.
Postage and Packaging
If goods are going to be later than our ideal delivery time then we will inform you of an estimated delivery date that is as accurate as possible. Postage will need to be signed for.
Some items may be shipped directly from our suppliers to make delivery quicker you will not incur any extra costs from this.
Though we will use Royal Mail for small deliveries any thing bigger will be dispatched through a courier and therefore will need a signature so please ensure someone is in to receive your parcel. Please check how many boxes you are signing for, as this will ensure that there is less chance for goods to be lost in transit.
We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless notified within 7 days of expected delivery date.
Postage rates are as follows: -
- Anything between 2KG-28KG is £7.50
- Over £150 FREE
- European Union
Add £1.65 per 0.5KG hereafter
- Rest of Europe
- Add £1.85 per 0.5KG hereafter
- Rest of World
- Add £2.45 per 0.5KG hereafter
Our goods are flown abroad to make delivery quicker
Overseas orders must note that any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your country will be the customer’s responsibility as we have no control or prediction of what these maybe.
Customers need to check Parcels and packaging on delivery prior to signing, to make sure that their purchases are received in good condition and have the right amount of parcels.
Hack ‘N’ Tack need to be informed of any damage or missing goods from their parcel within 3 working days
Hack ‘N’ Tack ask customers that are returning any goods to ensure that they are clean and free from dirt and substances relating to animals. In some instances cleaning may be required.
Hack ‘N’ Tack can refuse to accept returned items that are not cleaned as stated above in accordance with the Health and Safety Act 1974and EEC regulations.
Hack ‘N’ Tack suppliers have the right to examine goods that are considered defective and as such will not allow their workforce to handle items that have excess dirt or substances on them (Health and Safety 1974).
Hack ’N’ Tack states that the law says that they should supply goods that fit any description given, that should be of merchantable quality and be fit for their particular purpose (Sale of Goods Act 1979).
Customers of Hack ‘N’ Tack cannot expect a refund or replacement where there has been fair wear and tear, misuse or accidental damage or the customer decides that goods are no longer wanted.
The customer needs to demonstrate that the goods are faulty at the time of sale.
In the first 6 months after sale Hack ‘N’ Tack as ther etailer, will need to prove that the goods supplied were of the description required of merchantable quality and fit for their particular purpose as described as Sale of Goods Act 1979.
Please contact us if you need to return any goods and we will do this at our discretion. Please note that any returns must be unsoiled unused and in they’re original packaging. We may also require a valid proof of pruchase.
The following items are no non returnable- any specially ordered or personalised goods, horsebits or safety equipment as these are not re sellable.
Any customer returning goods to Hack ‘N’Tack within 14 days will be given a full refund of purchase price less postage and packaging, as long as the goods are returned clean and within the original packaging and this has previously been agreed by both parties. Hack ‘N’ Tack have the right to refuse goods for exchange and refund after 14 days, or if goods are soiled.
Hack ‘N’ Tack will not give refunds or exchange until they have received the returned goods.
Adequate parcel insurance for returned goods is recommended in case of any loss or damage, as Hack ‘N’ Tack are unable to compensate for returned parcels that are lost or damaged in transit. Any returned goods need to be forwarded with the correct postage and packaging fee.
Customers are advised to request receipts in case they maybe needed later.
Hack ‘N’ Tack will refund products at their discresion if the product has been returned in its original condition and packaging on production of a valid proof of purchase.
Any sales item or item on special offer can be exchanged within 10 days, however the sale price will still apply.
Refunds will not be given on any special orders or personalised items, or, bits.
If you feel a product is faulty then you must stop using the product and contact us about returning it. If you carry on using the product then we will assume that you accept the product in its damaged condition. If we find the product faulty then you will receive a full refund. Some times we may feel it is appropriate to send the product to our suppliers to be checked if we are not sure that the products are faulty or have been damaged due to misuse or neglect. This is to determine whether you are able to be credited. This can take some time and a refund will not be issued until the findings of the supplier are reported.
Adequate parcel insurance for returned goods is recommended as we are unable to compensate for lost goods or goods damaged in transit.
We cannot be held responsible for linked websites reliability or content.
Please do not email over any card or bank details, as we cannot be held responsible for the security of this information if sent in this way.

We cannot be held responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods on the estimated delivery times as this could be due to outside forces.
Please do not use any tack until you are completely satisfied that the size you have ordered is correct, Hack n Tack do not accept any liability for any circumstances that arise from using incorrectly fitted tack.
